NSSA is run entirely by volunteers. We are a registered charity that teaches sailing to young people and adults at our RYA Training Centre in Filby.

The NSSA is a registered charity, run by volunteers and trustees. NSSA provides affordable, inclusive sailing courses and related activities. Our instructors, ensure the courses meet each student's needs and abilities.

NSSA is a sail training organisation, rather than a sailing club. It is a Recognised Training Centre of the Royal Yachting Association and an affiliate of the National Schools of Sailing Association.
The NSSA has been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
